Adiyogi is a 112 foot statue inaugrated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Sadhguru. It is based in the foothills of Velliagiri mountains and is a part of Isha Yoga Center. In front of the statue in a mandapam, sadhguru has also consecrated a yogeshwara linga.

Anamalai Tiger Reserve

• From coimbatore we travelled to this flip top or so called anamalai tiger reserve, it was worse. Its 3 hr drive in forest department vechile. 200 per person, it's waste of time, local city zoo has better animals... Pls don't go.. Wasted time..

• I went to Anamalai Tiger Reserve. A visit to Tamil Nadu will never be complete without visiting the Anamalai Tiger Reserve that has been the constant state's companion since its establishment in the year of 1848. It is great place to go.

The Anamalai Tiger Reserve has a long management history since 1848. It is the erstwhile Coimbatore South Forest division, which was a model forest division for the Madras State.

• If you ignore the cleanliness bit, you would be definitely surprised with the collection they have here. A bit tiny, and depressing for the inhabitants. Takes roughly an hour, if you go slowly, clicking pictures, reading the placards. Children will definitely enjoy. Fairly cheap tickets, didn't try the train ride though.

• If you have kids please do take them here. There is a good array of animals and birds and it will ensure that you have a morning well spent. There is enough tree cover to make sure that the walk is comfortable. There is a little train ride option as well. And a huge park just outside so that one can play as much as they want after the zoo.

• Well kept and compact zoo in the middle of the Coimbatore city. Animals range from crocodiles, snakes to a variety of fauna and deers. They also have a nice toy train ride around the park. Best to go with young kids and children.
